Welcome to King West

Neighbourhood Description

The King West area has gone through dramatic changes in past years.  Once an industrial warehouse area, it has now become one of the top urban living spots in Toronto.  Filled with townhouses, condominiums and lofts, King West is minutes from the best night spots in Toronto.  Local cafes, bars, parks and restaurants are all at your doorstep.  On the outer regions of this area there is a sprinkling of houses for younger families but condominium properties far out number these. However, there are plans  for two new elementary schools  nearby on Fort York Boulevard and for building a community centre. (Nov 2009)

Check out KingWestBuzz.com or our Facebook business page King West Buzz, which is our lifestyle video blog. It will take you through Toronto’s west downtown core through video. Want to know where to eat? What’s up and coming in the neighbourhood? Come to KingWestBuzz.com. The idea is to start generating conversation and share information about places you like or may want to see on the vlog. Commenting is encouraged and sharing is everything!
